At Edgely we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.
Data we collect
Email, name (if provided via Google), IP address, usage data (pages visited, picks viewed), payment information processed by Stripe (we do not store your card).
Why we use it
To run the service (auth, subscriptions), improve the product (aggregate analytics), comply with legal obligations, communicate important changes and support.
Who we share it with
We do NOT sell your data. We share only what's necessary with strict providers: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Anthropic (thesis generation without personal data), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting). All bound by confidentiality.
How long we keep it
While your account is active, plus the minimum period required by law (billing, accounting). You can request full deletion at any time.
Your rights
Access, rectification, deletion, portability and objection to processing. Exercise any by emailing the contact below. We respond within 30 days max.
Cookies
Only necessary technical cookies (session, language). We do not use third-party advertising tracking cookies.
Security
TLS-encrypted connections. No passwords (we auth via magic link or Google). Database on infrastructure with encryption at rest (Neon).
